Dear colleagues,

I am hoping that someone can help solve a mystery related to the whereabouts of some historical O&P journals.

The Digital Resource Foundation for Orthotics and Prosthetics (www.drfop.org< <URL Redacted>>) has been archiving our profession's history by digitizing our historical journals and making them freely available to the world at <URL Redacted>

We are trying to solve the mystery of 6 missing volumes of The Journal of OALMA, which was the preceding journal to The Orthopedic and Prosthetic Appliance Journal published jointly by Orthopedic Appliance & Limb Mfrs. Association and the American Board for Certification. . This eventually became Orthotics and Prosthetics and was published by AOPA

The Journal of OALMA was founded in 1946 and seems to have switched names in 1952. We have a complete set of journals starting from December , 1952 with Volume 6, Number 4. Here is page 1 of the first journal we have: <URL Redacted>

We are in need of Volume 1, Number 1 through Volume 6, Number 4 to complete this project.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. These are the last pieces of the puzzle! If these exist in a family collection on a shelf or in a box somewhere, please consider the value of sharing them to be digitally archived and made freely available to the world. Please share this request with colleagues or families of colleagues who may not be online or connected to the Listserv.

Thank you very much!
