A patient of mine has extremely sensitive feet and was delivered a pair of
foot orthotics in the past by a competitor with a cover material that she
is very particular about. I have had no success finding a substitute, so
I'm hoping someone out there can help. The foam is 1/4 material, seems
like a semi-open cell structure with a closed cell top layer and a fabric
bottom layer. It rebounds well but it is not very dense and with lower
durometer than Pzote. I'm not sure if it is something intended for use in
foot orthotics, as I haven't seen anything similar in any catalog, but I'm
hoping someone out there is aware of it. It seems more like a cushion type
foam to me. I think it might be a polyurethane but I'm not sure. Attached
are some pictures of the material. Any help would be appreciated.
