Back again,

Let me restate this a bit. We are a hospital based practice with several outlying clinics. We are growing rapidly, and a hospital based system for measuring widgets to determine staffing needs is not a good match for O&P, as so many of us well know. We have been able to justify adding more clinicians (still not enough) using those existing measures, but translating our technical needs has been even more challenging. We are in the process of building a more O&P friendly system of productivity/staffing analysis, and I was looking for a good benchmark to consider in making sure we've presented a thorough rationale to include our technical needs as well. We are primed and ready to make our glorious presentation to the powers that be, and I'm checking with you all to see if what we are about to pitch is in line with industry standards, if there actually are any.

Thanks again for any help,

Andy Wolfe, CO ,LO
