Subject: [OANDP-L] myo control

Short article on research taking place to move myoelectric control of a
prosthesis from surface sensors using gross muscle movement, to more action
specific sensors implanted directly into the muscles responsible for hand
and wrist movement. Specifically the patient would be able to
intuitively operate three different prosthetic movements simultaneously:
opening and closing his hand, rotating his wrist, and moving his thumb.

See article below for brief description of procedure and prosthesis.
