Here are a couple of responses I missed before:
I use examples of orthoses in my classes and labs here at GSU. If it
wouldn't be too much trouble for you to send a few to us, that would be
great. I'm sure we can pay for shipping. Let me know if this might work and
I'll send you details.
Thanks,
Mark

Gena Heraty and I am one of the directors in our programs for children with
disabilities. You can find out about our programs by having a look at our
web page: specialneedsprogramshaiti.
Our org Nos Petites Freres et Soeurs is in Haiti since 1987 and we are
working with children with disabilities since 1993. I myself am in Haiti
since June 1993. Davor wrote to me that you have orthotics to donate and as
he did some wonderful work with us in Haiti, he knows we badly need
orthotics for our CP kids. So I am excited to have your contact details and
I hope you will consider sending the orthotics to us.
We are working hard to train some local people to actually make the
orthotics here- we have support from Handicap International and they will
send us some students in this field and we will eventually hire one for our
programs. I say this because perhaps down the road you might find someone
that might want to come and give further training to our staff in this
field. It's hard to get skilled people in this field to come to Haiti but
sure I ask anyway!
I am not sure where you are based. We have people that send us containers
from the US so that might be a way to get them to us. Sometimes vols coming
in take stuff to us. So if you agree to give them to us we can figure out
the logistics.
