The AAOP Gait Society and Northwestern University Prosthetic and Orthotic Center (NUPOC) are co-hosting an education and networking event on Thursday, February 27th from 6:00-8:00 pm.
A free shuttle will be available in the hotel lobby for transportation to and from NUPOC. The event has been awarded 2 CEUs by ABC.
Enjoy wine and cheese with colleagues during the Education, Research, Gait, and Outcomes (ERGO) Soiree. The complimentary event will take place at NUPOC's award-winning lakefront facilities, nine blocks north of the Hyatt. In addition to touring the research, testing, & fabrication laboratories and multimedia-rich classrooms, guests are welcome to view a series of brief poster demonstrations throughout the evening, including:
* Low Cost Gait Measurement Tools
* Free & Fast Validated Outcome Measures
* Clinically Relevant Research
* Blended Learning Format MPO Education
The following technologies will also be demonstrated:
* 3D instrumented gait analysis
* Video analysis (VOGA)
* Accelerometer-based analysis
* Rapid prototyping (3D printer)
* Dilatancy system for orthotic fabrication
