Hello to all,
We have a young (25 yo) transfemoral fellow who has no private insurance coverage but is interested in purchasing a microprocessor knee. He has been using a total knee 2100 since late 2010 and functioning at a K4 level. He works on the family farm which involves heavy lifting, uneven terrain etc. He is approximately 6' 2 and 260lbs.
Given the above information, and if money was not an issue, which microprocessor knee would you be recommending? The powerknee is our front runner at this time given that it will enable him to extend through snow and grain fields.
Sincere thanks,
Patrick Gross, BMR(PT)
