Follow up on the earlier question and posts regarding use of video for RAC and second level audits:
Good news, we got word yesterday that the decision of the RAC auditor has been reversed after we sent video and still images of the patient working out on a punching bag.
Hats off to listserve manager Paul Prusakowski for suggesting we grab still images from the video and send those in as well. Not sure which media tipped the scale, but from here out we will strive to include action photos/video of our patients in the medical record and audit request documentation.
