I have gotten a few e-mails and concerns about the link not working . If
this is true please copy and paste the following and that should solve the
problem:

Thanks again,
Amy
Re:
My name is Amy Hughes-Jones and I am a second year student in George
Brown’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician program. Since the inception of
the program it is mandatory for all second year technical students to
present a related topic in a formal setting. These Grand Rounds sessions
occur once a month in the presence of faculty, students, and professionals
from the field.
Our topic of interest is providing more awareness to technicians about the
dangers of different infections that could be present on devices we
handle. This is anything from bed bugs to different antibiotic resistance
infections. We want to collect data from different facilities to see if
there is any protocol when dealing with these devices and if we can
implement a standard procedure that should be followed.
