Hello All
Last week I posted information about the petition....
<URL Redacted>
A lot of you have signed it and I thank you for that. Some of you
have spread the word about it, once again... Thank You. We need a
lot of signatures to make this movement successful. If you haven't
forwarded information to your friends, family, colleagues, and
patients yet, please, please, please do it. Check out the petition
again, Change.org makes it very easy.
I know that some of you are very busy and haven't found the time to
sign or forgot to do it. No problem, we all have been there.... but it
only takes a couple of seconds and it could be hugely important for
our future.
But for those of you who have had the time and haven't signed yet. I
would like you to do some soul searching. If you are not part of the
solution, you are part of the problem. We need your help!!! I know
more people on this forum have complained about Medicare then have
signed it. In my mind, you lose your rights to complain if you don't
sign. Sorry to be blunt but we are at a crossroads and need all the
support we can get.
I know that our field is small and you may think that we can't affect
Washington. However, I don't think we have really tried a true
grassroots effort before. What we lack in numbers, we make up in the
fact that every one of our success stories could be pictured on an
inspirational poster. If you don't think that is power, than you are
crazy. We just haven't tried hard enough to use this power.
Best Regards
