We have been notified of either a bilateral hip disarticulation or a hemicorporectomy requiring support. I have done one hemicorp some 40 years ago.
Any ideas for current protocols, designs, or techniques? Anyone using struts to permit more normal breathing. Anticipated hygiene, continence issues, bags, etc; independent donning/doffing, transferring; anything and everything else? We appreciate your help in advance.
