Hello! I am in Northern Ireland and have an acquaintance (nephew of a friend) in the southern United States who was injured in an IED while on military service. He is looking to come here to Belfast to be evaluated for a
certain type of rocker brace of recent development, and I am hoping to find him something closer to home if possible. I thought surely there must be something
similar in the U.S.  Following is the link to the brace and its
developer. Is it similar enough to a Blue Rocker brace that they are
nearly the same? I have found something called IDEO orthotic, but as I
understand, it is only for active personnel and there is a backlog on
creating them. Your advice on anything similar to this brace would be
appreciated, so my friend may avoid a trip to N.I. that may be
unnecessary.  As I understand it, his symptoms are mainly those of pain and dysfunction because of pain, and he is to the point that he is considering amputation.  Thank you for any and all advice!
