In response to my question last week about including video documentation in RAC appeals: many have included video in their appeals documentation, but no one has indicated that it proved helpful, or that they received feedback that it was even reviewed. A number of responses indicated that their MAC has told them that they do not have the capacity to review video. The broad consensus was there has been no feedback from the RACs, CMS, or the ALJs that video documentation is being considered.
The best take away tip suggested that I take a screen shots from the video and include that in the documentation.
Keep appealing!
