I was wondering if any of the you on this list provide DME (canes,
crutches, and/or walkers) to their patients? If you do, are you accredited
for both DME and O&P? I am considering dropping all DME if I have to
accredited in both. My concern is for the patient requiring crutches to be
used with their orthotic device. I can not justify the extra costs
associated accreditation in DME for the few times that this comes up. If
you do not supply DME, what do your patients do for equipment?
I will post responses.
