I am just hoping for some input from my colleagues as to their experiences
with the Carbon Ankle Seven from Otto Bock. I have a therapist who is dead
set on using it for one of her patients. The adolescent girl has spina
bifida with weak planatr flexors and a slight crouch. I have previously
given her solid ankle AFOs and recently a pair of articulating AFOs with a
DF stop which the shattered the joints on. The Solid Ankle pair with
Carbon reinforcements did not last her more than 6 months.

I have spoken to a few colleagues who have used them and said that they
tend to be a little bulky.

Just looking for some more opinions...Good, bad, indifferent.....

Thank You,

TJ Daley C.O.
