For clarification of my previous email, I was discussing how to bill straps L4002. I realized after I sent it that I didn't specify that. For other orthotic repairs, labor and parts are billed separately utilizing L4205 & L4210. Use the same process of providing pricing of parts for L4210 to justify billed charges. L4205 will be reimbursed at the current labor allowable for your state.

In the case that it is a custom fabricated repair, they require a price break down of each part (I.e rivets, hook & loop, chaffe, etc) and the time the repair took to justify the amount billed. There is a set allowable for labor L4205 it's just not listed on the fee schedule but rather on a publication. Use the labor cost at your labor allowable plus the cost of your parts to determine the amount billed. I would be happy to provide you the most recent labor fee schedule if you would like?
