A question was brought to my attention recently:
If a practitioner was treating patients and decides to leave a practice, has no non-compete, are they able to inform patients simply that they have left, no harassment but just mailing to let them know they have moved on? Previously I have heard that the practitioner is able to inform patients since patients have the right to choose their care.
Also, I read previously that if the practitioner has seen the patient within a year that it is fine.
I just want to ensure that I am advising correctly.
Thank you
