Subject: Medicare denials for Liners
I have a patient that I did a change of socket. I provided the new liner but
Medicare has denied them. What is there reason for denying the liners they
don't last for ever and the new sockets must be fitted with new liners. Do
they want the patient to used the old liners with the new socket. What is
the way to get trough the appeal process and get pay. Are people getting pay
for liners or do we have to start charging the patient for them. I cant
afford to give them away. help !
