Hello colleagues,

Recently I have noticed that NHIC, Corp. and C2C Solutions, Inc. are
ignoring the video evidence that we have been submitting in support of
our Medicare Pre-Pay Reviews, Redeterminations, and Reconsiderations.

Example: I just received a denial of a Reconsideration from C2C. In
the denial they list all of the pieces of evidence that I submitted,
*_except they omitted that I sent in a CD-ROM _*with several videos of
the amputee ambulating and negotiating stairs, ramps, and uneven
surfaces. How is this even permitted? In our letter, I even discussed
the video and what it portrays, so how could the video be omitted?

Now when I appeal this to the Administrative Law Judge, will l have to
re-submit the videos and explain why I didn't submit them as evidence
earlier? And, is there a 'best way' to send video evidence? DVD?
CD-Rom? Flash drive?

Please let me know what has been working for you. I am especially
interested in Region A answers, though I imagine the other regions'
answers will be helpful to others. I'll re-post the responses in a
Summary post in a few days.

Thanks in advance,

Bill Lifford, CP
