I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE USING A 3RD PARTY BILLING SERVICE LIKE A HOMELINK TO GET IN NETWORK BENEFITS FOR THIER CLIENTS AND THEN RUN INTO TROUBLE? THEY SAY THEY WANT TO BE YOUR PARTNERS AND ASK YOU TO GIVE THEM ALL THE PATIENT AND INSURANCE INFO. THEY DO ALL THE WORK, GET AUTHORIZATION AND TELL YOU TO GO AHEAD WITH THE WORK. THEY DO ALL THE BILLING AND WHEN MONEY IS RECIEVED BY THEM THEY TAKE THIER CUT AND SEND YOU YOURS WITH A NEW EOB WHICH DOES NOT SHOW YOU HOW MUCH THEY TOOK. THAT IS ALL FINE BUT WHEN A ITEM GETS DENIED AFTER DELIVERY LIKE TWO MICROPROSSERS FOR A AK AND AFTER ALMOST FORCING THEM TO GO AFTER THE INSURANCE WITH NO RESULTS THEY WASH THIER HANDS AND SAY JUST BILL THE CLIENT. OF COURSE THE CONSUMER DOES NOT HAVE 30,000.00 AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE COVERED PER THE BILLER. AND WHEN POINTING OUT MISTAKES IN THE PRIOR AUTH AND BILLING BY THE BILLER THAT WOULD HAVE STOPPED THE MICROPROSSERS BEING DELIVERED THIER ANSWER IS BILL THE PATIENT. ALL
THIS LEAVING THE FACILITY SHORT 30,000.00 AND THIER PARTNER OUT NOTHING. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND IF SO WHAT WAS DONE?
