I'm looking for a scanner system that can be used with pedorthics,
orthotics, and prosthetics; we want to be able to send such files off to a
reliable central fab; we also might, eventually want to purchase some
automated cadcam fabrication equipment for doing precisely the same thing:
fabricating prosthetics, orthotics, and pedorthics.
So what I need is a recommendation for a scanner and fabrication system
that can do all three item types, plus a central fab we can use in the
short term while we use just the scanner, at first.
Additionally, I do know there are multiple kinds of central fab equipment:
i've seen carvers in action that carve foam blanks, for instance. But I
also know that there are systems that can, for example, bubble form
prosthetic test sockets, so I'm really wanting to see just how much we can
automate all at once.
Thanks in advance!!!
