Hello Group,
I have a billing question and wanted you advise regarding this following
situation. A provider has his own clinic separately located in a hospital
setting. So you have a portion of the building where the provider
practices his clinic and a portion which is a facility. If the a patient
is admitted as outpatient in the facility and is seen by this provider on
an outpatient basis and requires a DMe orthotic like a post op boot or
brace who is responsible for billing the DME supply the facility or the
provider. Any advice would be great.
