Hi,
According to the Medicare DMEPOS Supplier Standards (there are 30) # 16
says Must disclose these supplier standards to each beneficiary to whom
it supplies a Medicare-covered item
Is this suppose to be disclosed at the time of providing each item/supply
or is it done one time. I also read somewhere that if requested by CMS a
proof of this needs to be provided. Practically speaking it seems a lot
to provide proof for each and every beneficiary but then again you follow
the Medicare guidelines to be compliant. So what do other suppliers do to
be compliant and still not be a burden?
Thanks,
