ORIGINAL POST
I've had an order for a wrist guard which would be to protect the
patient's wrists and forearms in case of a fall. I'm guessing the patient
asked the physician to order it and the patient wants something like some
skateboarders use. It has plastic shells dorsal and volar sides. Are you
aware if any of our vendors carry this item? ,Randy McFarland, CPO Sunny

RESPONSES
I know Innovation Sports (CTI) used to have things like you described for
motocross enthusiasts. They are now part of Ossur so maybe they have
discontinued that niche.
I think donjoy stocks this item
You might try the old WHO CTi used to carry, can't remember name but another
company took it over. For motocross so it doesn't have volar but excellent
dorsal control, prefab carbon available
Sports authority
Amazon Walmart Or, you could make some slick custom versions.
Royce used to have something very similar...
