Dear List,
We are working with a 30 y/o female KD patient who has recently undergone
chemotherapy and is extremely sensitive to chemical odors. We have been
using Proformance Modified Acrylic Resin. Even after 3 months, she cannot
be in an enclosed space with her prosthesis. We have considered a
thermoplastic socket, but would prefer to stay with a laminated frame if
possible.
Do you have any recommendations for resins with minimal odor / off-gassing?
Thanks for your help-
