Hello All, There were a number of us on the conference, Go To Meeting this morning. There were a few that asked questions, as did I. I would love to begin a dialogue with those who asked questions. The first was someone called Jake, and I would like to follow up with you about IF you felt this was worth your time, or IF they had ANY clear answers for you. I know MY questions did NOT get a satisfactory answer, regarding replacement liners, and IF they require a new Rx, or not. She said NOT to my question, but I will NOT risk my business and my finances on her answers.
I want to thank the next caller, Rosen I think (Psi, Sy or something). Please contact me if you see my message here. Your points are VERY important, and she did NOT have a good answer or any help for you. We all MUST share our information with each other, and we NEED to get some legal action going against NGS, which is also known as Anthem, and show how THEY are paying claims in error, obviously. And now they are getting PAID to re-claim these funds that THEY paid in error in the first place. They said today there is NO set cookie cutter kind of criteria they are searching for, BUT all claims are being denied for varying reasons, or Changing requirements on WHAT is going on today. But they will NOT give us a set list of what is required, and even the items they mentioned today (musculoskeletal Exam, or Cardio exam, Neurological exams) while they don't necessarily REQUIRE these or deny a claim due to missing any of these exams, BUT there is NO guarantee that IF there are no exams mentioned or included in the Audit Packet that is submitted, they MIGHT deny the claim if these are NOT included... It was the worst webinar I have ever participated in. Their answers were as vague as they could possibly be. BUT of course ANYTHING shared with us today is NOT necessisarly true or accurate, AND NGS can NOT be held accountable for ANY information that is presented today. That is a real sense of comfort....whatever they said today might not be true or correct...BUT they have done everything possible to ensure accuracy....BUT they don't stand behind anything they might have saiid today. Please, let's start a group for those of us who participated in this region....we NEED to nail them down to get us some definite, concrete requirements that they DO require, and what we can KNOW for sure IF we have all the bases covered. Oh yeah, I took great comfort when she saiid that this is not a punishment or that they do NOT determine fraud, but they just don't want to pay us for anyhting, and will change rules to make sure they don't have to pay us for any reason they can find.....BUT they don't tell us what the 'Lacking information is...soo there is no way we can submit MORE information.....if we don't know what we are missing. THanks Jim DeWees, CP
