Hi, List:
Our facility had a cursory audit by NJ Medicaid this week. Among other items, the auditor requested to see certificates for all staff that handle patient care and billing showing that they have participated in a Fraud, Waste, and Abuse program. This is supposed to be done on an annual basis.
Does anyone know of such a program? I have researched the web only to find programs that are geared towards providers participating in Medicare Parts C&D. NHIC (DME MAC for Reg A) does not appear to have a program.for Part B providers. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
