The Barr Foundation is pleased to announce that we are accepting donations
of new or lightly used prosthetic components and supplies at two separate
locations, one in San Francisco, CA and one in Boca Raton, FL. We are
aiming to rebuild our inventory since making the decision to resume
accepting and warehousing our own components again. POCC and the Barr
Foundation had a fine working relationship, and we greatly appreciate their
work and support.
We currently support missions through prosthetic donations at San Filipe
Hospital in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, a clinic in Ensenada, Mexico and St.
Vincent de Paul Hospital in Medellin, Columbia. We have provided prosthetic
rehabilitation to 139 amputees in Honduras, 42 in Ensenada since and 47 in
Columbia.
Presently we are considering providing assistance in Panama City at the
Instituto Nacional de Medicina Fisica y de Rehabilitacion (INMFR).
Your contribution will enable us to continue with our international missions
and will be utilized for amputees in need of prosthetic rehabilitation. As
in the past in appreciation and recognition of your tax deductible donation,
your company name will be added as a member of our Hope Donor Club on our
website.
Donations may be sent to:
