Dear List-serve,
I have a question about the durability of the newer iLimb hand and the Bebionic hand. How durable are they? I have an transhumeral that is in need of a new arm but it has to be durable. He uses the arm when weedeating, mowing, and all other landscaping tasks. I am looking very hard at the Boston vs the DA or the U3. I made an earlier post asking anyone who has worked with both the Dynamic arm and Utah, which one is best with durability and ease of harnessing a rotator with a locking shoulder joint. I only got 3 responses and all suggested the Boston. Now I am wondering about the best hand, it has to be able to handle the patient using a weedeater. What is your experience with the newer bionic hands?
Thanks in advance for your responses,
Rick Stapleton, CPO
