Hello,
I am looking for a method (other than trial and error) to determine how many layers of carbon fiber would be required to design the custom carbon fiber flexible foot plate of a posterior leaf spring AFO style transmetatarsal prosthesis.
Does anyone any methods based on patient weight, activity level, foot and foot -plate length?
Thank you,
Patrick Lebel, BSc., C.P.O (c)
