Does anyone have research data supporting the use of a carbon fiber AFO in
conjunction with a toe filler for partial foot amputees? I have the
article from OandP Edge a year or so ago, but I'm looking for actual
research data to support this. I know Allard had a presentation that I saw
a few years ago that claimed using a toe off had greater reduction in
plantar pressures for partial foot amputees than using a carbon footplate.
Any help or direction would be appreciated. I tried to get this from
Allard but no one seemed to have the right info for me.
Thanks
