Dear Listserv members,
Yesterday there was a posting to the list that was requesting donations of
prosthetic componentry.
It was brought to my attention that this organization is selling used
components on E-Bay, <URL Redacted>
< <URL Redacted>
sid=p3686> &_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686
If you have donations of components, a LEGITIMATE organization in the United
States that is warehousing, cataloging, and distributing components for
humanitarian efforts is the Prosthetic Orthotic Component Clearinghouse (
POCC) which was founded by Rob Kistenberg, MPH, LCP, FAAOP. The
organization is recognized by US ISPO, which is a collaborating partner in
the POCC mission.
More information can be found at www.usispo.org/pocc
Let's be careful out there!
