Hi there.
Have you ever had those patients who believe they know better? I am
speaking specifically about those who require a UCBL style foot orthosis,
but think it should take up no space to fit into their footwear that is
already too small for them. I am wondering if anyone has a contract that
they would have their patients sign stating they were made aware of the
ramifications of changes, but still were wanting the insert cut down.
I just want to have all bases covered. I have this conversation with
every person who I design these for, but it seems most women are agreeable
during the assessment, but then bring high heels and other such
inappropriate footwear to the fitting.
If anyone has a form, I'd love to see it.
Take care,
Jen
