Hello again all,
I have for the past few years been using an SMO with a plantarflexion stop to treat idiopathic toe walking. I have fit more than a hundred pairs of these and have only had to replace one pair with hinged AFO's because the therapist felt they would work better. Therapists now routinely order the SMO version. If you treat this disorder you may want to try this approach. I have posted a short youtube video on the design and approach. If you have a chance to watch, I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks for taking time. Link follows. Kevin
