Dear List,

I'm a biomedical engineering doctoral student at Virginia Tech investigating
the role of lower-limb amputation in the development of low back pain. I'm
hoping to gain some feedback from the list as to effective ways of
recruiting research participants to perform several non-invasive and low
risk biomechanical tests and movement tasks. I've already posted an
announcement on the ACA's research
website( <URL Redacted>, but I
was hoping for more focused/regional advice and/or support. Do any
practitioners have relationships with research universities? How were they
formed and what are the methods used for referring potential participants?
Are there any practices in the southwestern Virginia area willing to speak
further with me?

Feel free to contact me if you have any prior experience, are willing to aid
in participant recruitment, or for more details of my the research!

Thanks in advance,

Brad Hendershot
