I got 21 replies to my post about what I chairtiably call questionable practices.the practice of paying patients to refer other patients, drive around, targeting minority neighborhoods asking people if they know any amputees.'Then go to their homes and tell them the guy on the corner said you need my help. This being done by the practitioner or hiring people to do this for them. out of 21 replies 20 feel this at the very least are ethic violations, 18 felt it was a medicare violation, 15 stated it violated most state licensing laws. Only one person felt that it could possibly seen as Targeted Marketing. Wow, I guess there is one in every bunch!
