Lately there has been a increase companies using the following tactics. I was curious as to how ABC and Licensed practitioner felt about these different scenarios as if they are 1. Ethical, 2. Legal or 3. Perfectly OK.
Scenario 1. A P&O Companies employs people to drive around looking or canvasing neighborhoods for Amputees.
Scenario 2. a P&O Company Pays Patients a referral fee for find fellow amputees to become patients.
Scenario 3 the CPO himself drives around looking for amputees himself.
I have my own opinion about this but was curious as to the pulse of other practitioners on these practices. I will post all replies at a later date.
Thank you Patrick S. Price CPO, LPO
