SKILLS FOR LIFE 3 - October 12-16, Denver Renaissance Hotel
Help for Today- - -Hope for Tomorrow
SKILLS FOR LIFE 3 is a 4-day unique workshop specifically geared toward
individuals with bilateral upper limb loss. The triennial event will
include bilateral upper limb loss individuals demonstrating basic daily life
tasks and higher level skills as well as healthcare professionals who will
also present on various related topics.
New Additions to the SFL 3 Program
A special Activity Day, scheduled for October 14, has been added to this
year's agenda that will include swimming, water activities and video games
for the amputee participants.
NEW! OT Workshop Case Studies
For the therapists attending the OT workshop on Wednesday, October 12th, SFL
3 will offer a format for therapists primarily consisting of case study
presentations.

<Email Address Redacted> if you are interested in presenting one of your
patients. These case studies can be a difficult clinical presentation that
you need help with or an interesting case with final follow up, anything
goes.
Deadline for Abstracts for Free Papers and Posters
SFL 3 is taking submissions for free papers and posters until August 31st.
Please send submissions or questions to Shawn Johnson.
Be a HERO - SPONSOR A BILATERAL ATTENDEE?
Professionals in the O & P and rehabilitation field are invited to sponsor a
registration for an amputee attendee. Your sponsorship will enable an
amputee to attend who might not otherwise be able to participate. The cost
to sponsor one bilateral arm amputee is $600.00 and includes recognition of
your sponsorship in the official program. Please contact the USISPO office
if you would like up sponsor an attendee or if you have questions about SFL
