Hi Colleagues
I work primarily with the pediatric population and lately have been bothered
by the effectiveness of the direction of straps -
My question is -
When you have a CP child that toes in ( because of femoral or tibial
torsion) often accompanied by fofefoot adduction - How would you place the
straps of your device- Ankle from medial to lateral or lateral to medial
Toe strap from medial to lateral or vice versa. Would you add a thirs strap
above the malleoli? From where to where?
Does it really have any affect on the toe in gait?
I am looking forward to your experience and insights
Thanks
