Attached is a video link to one of the projects going on in Haiti.- My focus on
the single axis foot is a minor observation in the video

In the beginning it shows a pt walking with a weight activated stance control
knee and a SACH foot. I have long thought that a low cost S/A foot would make
walking a lot easier for AK pt’s in developing countries. In the video it seems
clear that the pt would benefit from that , if it existed

So, do you think creating a low cost single axis foot for developing countries
is an important and useful project?

I have found an interested and excellent engineer that is interested in working
on that project.
He would like to know if the rest of the prosthetic community thinks it is
an important and worthwhile project as well.

The rest of the video is quite inspirational and well worth watching.

I look forward to your comments
