I have been asked to provide services for an out-patient surgical center.
A physician wants each pt to receive a knee immobilizer along with a cryo
cuff and walker. I have never billed for walkers or cryo cuffs (polar cold
ice units). For those of you who have billed for these services, is it
worth it? Does Medicare and other payers pay for these items?
