Greetings everyone,

Some of our clinicians are growing frustrated with the industry's standard
of applying Loctite to bolts and other hardware within each socket's
system. They become disgruntled by the incessant shaking of the bottle,
applying it to each bolt, and then finding out only minutes later that the
adhesive didn't cure and was drawn by the vacuum system, in essence clogging
multiple areas.

I am just inquiring as to when practitioners and technicians alike remember
Loctite becoming prevalent within the field, and why was it chosen over
other possible solutions to securing hardware? In addition, what was the
initial thought process of determining that some type of adhesive was needed
upon a socket's hardware?

Thank you for your guidance and insight in this matter.
