It’s Time to Register for the 2011 United Forum of the Americas.

US-ISPO PARTNERS WITH UNITING FRONTIERS (UNIENDOS FRONTERAS) TO HOST UNITED
FORUM OF THE AMERICAS IN COSTA RICA, FEBRUARY 13-16, 2011.

In February 2011 the first United Forum of the Americas- Working Together
for a Better World will take place in San José, Costa Rica. USISPO will join
Uniting Frontiers, and the National Member ISPO societies of Costa Rica,
Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Panama and Mexico will join together for the
first time to present this international conference.

The goal is to collaborate, provide networking opportunities and high
quality prosthetic and orthotic rehabilitation content for developing nation
professionals and students who might not otherwise have access to this type
of continuing education.

“The education flows in both directions, U.S. Physicians, Physical
Therapists and P&O Practitioners learn from the Spanish presenters and vice
versa” noted Robert Kistenberg, MPH, LP, CP, FAAOP, Chair of US-ISPO.

“It seemed a natural fit that these two well established conferences should
join efforts to create the largest Prosthetic, Orthotic and Rehabilitation
Conference in Latin America”, said Rosielena Jované

C. , Coordinator of Uniting Frontiers.

Content for the United Forum Conference will be provided by speakers from
thirteen countries and presented with simultaneous translation in both
English and Spanish.

The United Forum of the Americas is expected to draw over 400 attendees from
all over the Western Hemisphere.
