Thanks to everyone for all the good input!
Here is the summary of all responses:
Cascade for Apex Ambulators
Check out www.SoleNationHealth.com We have just started offering our shoes to O,P and P. (This is from Ernesto)
Dr.Comfort is our main shoe to use for the diabetic foot.
If you have to try Ortho feet. Pricing is pretty good. $50-60 per shoe.
I have been using Lord shoes out of Bohemia NY for 15 years and have never had a problem with any aspect of quality or service
Orthofeet and Dr. Comfort
Athletic: Brooks, Aetrex
Casual: Aetrex, Drew, Surefit, PW Minor
We have not experienced any major backorder situations with the above companies. One size or style here and there but for the most part we get our shoes within 2 weeks. For diabetic TSD I am using Brooks and Surefit pretty much exclusively. Surefit is part of SPS and they send their shoes out of Florida so we get them within a week which is great. They are not heavy duty support shoes but they are well made and light which my patients enjoy. I will tell you that we have had backorder issues with Propet and essentially do not use them anymore as a result.
MMAR
sure fit- thru sps
apis
Sunriseshoes
Qi shoes ask for Jay Chen

Our office is currently using APIS Footwear Company, out of California. It generally takes about a week to 10 business days to receive our orders. We have also have good luck with their custom shoes.
Propet. Available immediately through Cascade, no backorders
DREW shoe less than a week
Apis custom inserts less tan 2 weeks with quite a quality We do not combine the 2 as Apis is notorious with backorders and shoes are so so
Very bad experience with Dr C.
American shoe for custom; they improved quite a bit
SPS-Surefit, ACOR-orthofeet,drew; The new balance form surefit and Drew thru Acor can be B.O. for some time, I have good luck fitting orthofeet and surefit line, Dr. Comfort has a good product too.
Dr Comfort.
The Right Shoe Company
George Clark
800-700-SHOE
Styles and widths limited, but the price is right. Haven't had any back orders yet.
Apis (Mt. Emey). Have not had any problems yet.
I love both Dr Comfort and Apis
