I just had a concerned parent inquire as to if there is a type of orthosis that can be useful for maintaining muscular conditioning specifically the gastrocs. His son suffered a TBI at a young age and he continues to notice the muscular atrophy. His present AFO design is utilizing a posterior stop with articulation allowed for dorsiflexion. Any ideas, experiances or training methods would be appreciated. Thank you!
