Hi all,
We have been asked to help a gentleman who is 63 years old and 5 foot 10 inches and 185 pounds who walks with a wheeled walker. He is weak in the hip extensors and erector spinae muscles and walks bent over the walker. We have been asked to evaluate and suggest bracing to help him stand erect. We have thought of a TLSO body jacket with locking hip spika (bilateral ?) with elastic anterior closures or something spring loaded, maybe using the Becker joint extensors.
Anyone out there seen this and have a suggestion?
Thanks.
