I have a 40+ yr old gentleman, paraplegic, need help with AFO recommendations. Has had copoly with corrugation for increased rigidity for last ten years and been doing well but breaks frequently. Recently tried carbon fiber AFOs which were too rigid, tried polypro with compcore which he blew out in less than two weeks (the carbon that is). Need a fine line between rigidity for knee control and flexibility for latestance and for uneven terrain. Any recommendations.
