Mission of Hope is now looking for a Prosthetist to serve anywhere from 6 mos.
to 1 year, and possibly longer.  Lots of you have probably seen our posts here
on the list serve about short term trips too.  We are still in need for weekly
personel also!

Mission of Hope is a wonderful Christian organization that has been in Haiti for
years.  The medical clinic started about 2 yrs ago and has grown tremendously.
Several physicians who worked at MOH post-quake thought a P&O clinic would be
extremely beneficial because of the number of amputee's they were
seeing.  Because of a this, on April 5, 2010, the Monday after Easter,
Prosthetics of Hope opened its doors to serve the people of Haiti.

Logistics:

Mission of Hope has made a generous gesture in waving the usual room and board
fee for short term trips.  Your financial responsibility is your flight.
Basically, you have to get there and they take care of the rest.

For the long term position, salary will be discussed at time of application
process.

If you are interested in serving short- or long-term, please contact Marilyn
Waterman at <Email Address Redacted>

I can also answer technical questions about the lab, componentry, etc.

Thanks!
