Medical Mission Opportunity to Peru
Medical Ministry International is hosting two short term
Physical/Occupational therapy projects in 2010 in Arequipa Peru. The
dates are August 14-28 and over the week of Thanksgiving. The project
consists of setting up a temporary clinic and seeing both pediatric and
adult patients. Equipment is distributed including wheelchairs, walkers
and orthotics. We are looking for orthotists and prosthetists to join
the team to assist in fabricating and/or modifying current products for
patient use. We also would like to host a course for local therapists
on the basics of how to choose an orthosis and how to modify donated
ones to fit patients. If you would be interested in joining the team or
