Dear Colleagues, I am asking for your help with a difficult TMA situation.
Retired person, 200 lbs., burn accident about 25 yrs ago, TMA with skin
graft (from posterior calf) over anterior sole, normal tissue on heel, burn
scar tissue over entire lower leg including dorsum of foot, has tried
toe-filler and AFO limbs, currently wearing hinged anterior stop AFO with
full length toe lever which walks the best. Has had almost continuous
plantar surface breakdown over the past 15+ years, seeking an end to skin
issues, still very active, walking for exercise etc. Other leg is Symes
amputation.
Any suggestions?
